The nearest train station is Leuchars which is 15 miles away. From here you would need to take a taxi to the Craws Nest Hotel or a coach to St Andrews and then change coaches for Anstruther.

From St Andrews take a coach to Anstruther
By Car
From The North (A92 - Dundee / Tay Bridge)
From Dundee cross the Tay Bridge and follow the A92 to St Michaels, where the road becomes the A919 which should be followed to Leuchars, at the mini roundabout turn right to Guardbridge/St Andrews. At Guardbridge the road becomes the A91 which takes you direct to St Andrews. Drive through the town of St Andrews following the signs for Anstruther B9131 (9 miles). Once in Anstruther, go over the first two mini roundabouts and at the next roundabout/crossroads and follow the road approximately 1/2 a mile towards Pittenweem. The Craw's Nest is situated on the left hand side as you exit Anstruther.
From The South (M90 - Edinburgh / Forth Road Bridge)
From Edinburgh cross the Forth Road Bridge M90. After crossing the bridge, exit the M90 at junction 2A, heading for the A92 Kirkcaldy East. At Kirkcaldy follow the signs for the A915, passing through Leven, Lundin Links and Upper Largo. At Upper Largo the road branches into the A917, follow this through (Collinsburgh - B942) Pittenweem to Anstruther. The Craws Nest Hotel is situated on the right hand side as you enter Anstruther.
